Your iPhone app

  • How long does it take for my app to appear on iTunes after signing up for gFEED?

    Apple must approve every app sent to them before it makes it to iTunes. We aim to get your app built and sent to Apple within 48 hours, if it's ever longer than this we will email you. Unfotunatly Apple do not tell us how long it will take for your app to be approved, however from our experience it takes around 2 weeks. Will we send you an email the minute its approved onto iTunes.

  • How do people find out that my venue has it's own iPhone app?

    Your iPhone app will be on iTunes for the world to see, but your customers are the ones who will find it most useful. We don't promote your app, it's up to you to promote your app in your venue. A few posters should do the trick.

  • Which parts of my iPhone app can I customise?

    You can specify the name of your app and its icon when you create an account. Of course with your gFEED you change all the events, drinks offers and your venue info right from your web browser, all this is sent straight to your iPhone app.

  • What if I want custom features on my iPhone app?

    You can request a feature using our feature request service and other users can vote on your feature. Features with the highest votes will be implemented first. Alternatly you can have an exclusive feature added to your gFEED by contacting us an extra charge will be estimated for this dependant on the complexity of the feature.

  • What happens to my iPhone app if I cancel my subscription to gFEED?

    If you cancel your gFEED subscription your app will be deleted from iTunes and your gFEED account suspended. If you deciced to sign up again after canceling you will have to wait once more for you iPhone app to go live on iTunes (See “how long does it take for my app to appear on iTunes after signing up for gFEED?” for more information).

  • What browsers are supported by gFEED?

    Our service gFEED.mobi works with modern browsers such as; FireFox 3+ (free download), Safari 3+, Opera 9+ and Internet Explorer 7+. Other older browser such as Internet Explorer 6 (which is over 8 years old!) are not supported.

  • How do I cancel my gFEED?

    Simple, all you need to do is send the team an email with the subject 'CANCEL'. However once you have cancelled your iPhone app will be removed from iTunes and any downloaded iPhone apps will stop working.
